Simon Crow discovered carp fishing in 1980 and has notched up carp from almost 200 different waters. He is an angling journalist and broadcaster, and a fisheries and tackle consultant. This is his third book to have been published about carp fishing.

Rob Hughes caught his first carp in the late 1970s and has since progressed onto fishing for carp all around the globe. He is an angling promoter and journalist, with a regular column in the UK's leading weekly angling paper, the Angling Times, and is the organiser of the British Carp Angling Championships.
