Terms & Conditions

The gifts4anglers offices are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and are closed on weekends and bank holidays. Orders placed while the offices are closed, will be processed the next working day.

Orders received before 12pm are usually despatched the same day, or within 24 hours. (please see delivery options below).

All orders paid for by cheque, will be processed once we have confirmation back form the bank, stating the cheque has cleared. Orders will be placed on 'Queued' status until this is received.

In the event of non-availability, the customer will be notified. Gifts4anglers sell over various platforms, and stock levels can alter before we can update them. We do our very best to make sure that the stocking levels are up to date, but unfortunately on occasion it can be delayed. Please try leave contact details where possible so that we can contact you should this occur.

DELIVERY OPTIONS

The information provided in this area, is reccomended by Royal Mail. All timescales are approximate, and can change during busy periods (e.g Christmas).

All items are sent using Royal Mail standard 2nd class (Europe – Standard Surface Mail, Rest of the World – Standard Airmail), unless another service has been specifically chosen and paid for.

We use Royal Mail DMO for all orders, and therefore can provide a proof of postage if required.

Standard 1st Class – Royal Mail – Orders with 1st class delivery options, placed before 12pm, will be despatched the same day. Approx time for delivery 1-2 days.

NB: Although we offer a 1st class option of 1-2 days delivery, this service is NOT guaranteed. Royal Mail do not accept any claim for late or delayed items sent using 1st class post, until 15 working days have expired, and as a result, we also adhere to this timeframe.

Standard 2nd Class – Royal Mail – Orders with 2nd class delivery options are usually processed within 24 hours of the order being placed. Approx time for delivery 3-5 days. This service is NOT guaranteed.

1st and 2nd Class Recorded – Royal Mail – We offer recorded delivery options for all orders. Any order over £40.00 in value, will need to be sent recorded. This is to safe guard our company against any lost items.  A signature will be required on delivery. Approx delivery times as above for standard 1st and 2nd class post, and as before this is NOT guaranteed.

Next Day Guaranteed – Royal Mail – All orders received before 12pm with next day delivery option, will be despatched the same day. Orders placed after this time will be processed on the next working day.  Please note that next day service does not include weekends or bank holidays, if you place an order after 12pm on a Friday, this will not be sent until Monday. A signature will be required on delivery. This service is guaranteed.

Royal Mail deliver throughout the UK. However, there are certain delivery restrictions in particular areas:

Courier – Various – Please leave a contact telephone number when selecting this service. Items cannot be booked in without one. Failure to leave a contact number may result in your order being delayed. All couriered services are booked through ‘Interparcel’ and are usually picked up within 24 hours (This can be longer during busy periods). Delivery times differ, but are usually delivered within 3-5 working days. A booking confirmation with reference number will be emailed to the email address provided on the order.

No liability for any claim for goods differing in description from particulars given on the website shall be considered unless we are notified in writing or by email within 14 days of delivery.

We will not accept undamaged goods for return unless such return has been authorised by a director, and the goods are received back in stock condition, in their original packaging. Return costs in such circumstances shall be at the customer's expense.

Until you return items to us you are responsible for their safe keeping and taking reasonable care of them. We do not accept liability for returned packages damaged during transit back to us. It is your responsibility to wrap products adequately to prevent damage. We recommend using either Special Delivery or Signed for services when returning goods to us.

Please include the delivery note/Returns Form despatched with your order containing the order reference number and state clearly the reason for returning the item, along with your contact details.
Once we have received your return at our warehouse we will process your return within 24 hours. You should expect to see your refund in your account between 5 and 14 days, please note some banks may take longer to process refund payments. No refund will be given until items have been received back to gifts4anglers.

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations, you have up to 14 working days after you have received your delivery to cancel your order (other than in respect of goods made to your specification or clearly personalised). Any delivery charges will not be refunded, unless gifts4anglers are at fault.

It is our responsibility to supply you with goods that meet your consumer rights. If you have any concerns that we have not met our legal obligations, please contact us.

Price information

Gifts4anglers.co.uk has taken great care to ensure prices are accurate. Prices may change over time.  All prices include VAT where appropriate. Whilst we try and ensure all details, descriptions and prices are correct when appearing online, some products might be subject to slight variations. Errors & omissions excluded. Delivery charge is an additional cost. We reserve the right to update prices displayed on the Website, at any point.

If we discover an error in the price of items you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible. You will have the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat your order in respect of the incorrectly priced item as cancelled.
